Our twice-yearly open mic gives KWG members a chance to read from their work. Readings are 2-3 minutes (timed) based on the number of readers. Here’s a great chance to share published work, build audience, try out a new voice or share your best. You may also read excerpts of work you love by other writers, but you’ll need permission if you read KWG members’ work.

The Knoxville Writers’ Guild requests a $2 donation at the door. This helps defray our rent for meeting space and entitles you to drawings for door prizes (when we have them).
