Alyssa Stewart and Casey Jessen are co-owners of the Fable Hollow Coffee and Bookshoppe on Tazewell Pike. They opened in February of 2023 and offer a wide collection of fantasy fiction in adult and young adult categories. Along with specializing in fantasy, the shelves have many volumes outside that genre. Fantasy and science fiction comprise a $600 million dollar market in the United States. Alyssa and Casey will discuss the genre, the difference in fantasy fiction and using fantastical elements in our writing, the past and future for writers and booksellers, and events and opportunities at Fable Hollow.
