Jeannette Brown published short stories in respected journals for decades, but landing a publishing house for her first novel was another story. And yet, she persisted. Jeannette Brown’s work has been published in Bellevue Literary Review, Southwestern American Literature, New Millennium Writings, Steel Toe Review, and other publications. She is the co-editor of Literary Lunch, a KWG food anthology. She has enjoyed residencies at the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, Rivendell Writers’ Colony and Hedgebrook/India. She is a bookseller at Union Avenue Books. Her novel is The Illusion of Leaving.
